#24: The King We Need

Mark 11:1-11

January 9, 2022 • Chad Francis

Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem confirms what the crowds had been hoping—He is the King they’ve been waiting for. But the way He rides in also shows that He is a surprising King—one who’s not afraid to disrupt our expectations. While the crowd turns on Jesus a few days later, Mark invites us to see the beauty in trusting a King who loves us enough to surprise us and give us what we really need, even at the cost of His own life.
